PROPOSED MATERIAL ALTERATIONS TO PROPOSED

VARIATION NO. 1 TO THE ROSCOMMON COUNTY DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2022-2028

The Proposed Material Alterations, together with all associated environmental documentation, will be available for inspection during normal office hours for a period of four weeks from Friday, 18 September 2026 to 4pm Monday, 19 October 2026 (inclusive)

• (I) Online at rosdevplan.ie (RCDP 2022 2028 – Variation No. 1)

Or

• (II) Roscommon County Council Premises

• Planning Section Reception, Roscommon County Council, Aras an Chontae, Roscommon, Co. Roscommon, F42 VR98
• Roscommon County Council Area Offices in Boyle and Monksland
• Roscommon County Libraries – Boyle, Ballaghaderreen, Castlerea, Roscommon and Strokestown

Making a Submission or Observation

Written submissions or observations in respect of the Proposed Material Alterations may be made to the Planning Authority during the period:

Friday, 18 September 2026 to 4pm Monday, 19 October 2026

Written submissions or observations should be clearly marked ‘Proposed Material Alterations toProposed Variation No.1 to the Roscommon County Development Plan 2022-2028’ and must be submitted by one medium only i.e. either: 

• Online by visiting: Variation No. 1 RCDP 2022-2028

OR

• In writing, and addressed to: ‘Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No.1 to the Roscommon County Development Plan 2022-2028’,

Emailed or Late Submissions will not be accepted

Please note, only submissions that specifically relate to the proposed Material Alterations will be considered. Other non-related submissions will not be accepted. Submissions / observations must quote the relevant proposed Material Alteration reference number(s).
